Ski to Sea Grand Parade – Mayor’s Award

Camp Firwood won the Mayor’s Award for “Best Non-Profit Float” this past weekend at the Ski to Sea Grand Parade. That makes a clean sweep of awards at the Ski to Sea parades this year. Best Large Float – Jr. Ski to Sea Parade

Camp Firwood, Fircreek Day Camp and After School Adventure won the “Best Large Float” in the Jr. Ski to Sea Parade this past Friday. The float was made up of half western theme and half rocket launch pad. We will also be participating in the Ski to Sea Grand Parade on May 30th starting at 12pm in Bellingham. Come on out to show your support!

Camp Firwood, along with Fircreek Day Camp and After School Adventure, is participating in the annual Jr. Ski to Sea Parade through downtown Bellingham on Friday May 21st. Come on out with the family and help support the kids ministries at The Firs. Last year we won “Best Large Float” for our pirate/castle ship design and we are looking to win again! We have a old west/space theme which should be lots of fun. The parade starts at 6pm on Cornwall Ave. For more details, go here: http://www.jrskitosea.com. Hope to see you there!
